The Solar Shack was contracted by UNICEF to carry out a Solar Grid tie installation for the purpose of creating savings from electricity consumption from the national grid. This installation was successfully installed with pending upgrade of battery storage as the grid is currently unavailable or highly unstable.

The Solar Shack was contracted by GOAL Zimbabwe to supply and install a solar backup system for the GOAL head office located in Harare. The installed system provides power backup for use for the office computers, lighting, & refrigeration for the offices. This system although not oft grid allows for the office to carry out its day to day tasks efficiently and without having to worry about grid supplied electricity.

The Solar Shack installed a 1 OkW solar grid tie system for Mind The Gap a childrens orphanage in Bulawayo. This system was designed and installed by the Solar Shack. The system offers lighting water pumping and use of essential appliances for the childrens orphanage. Phase 2 for the orphanage will be commencing to put the entire childrens orphanage off the grid.

The Solar Shack was contracted as a partner by Mobility for Africa an International organization that setup a pilot electric vehicle charging station in Zimbabwe. The Solar Shack installed a 16kW solar charging station that charges up to 80 electric vehicles in the Wedza area of Zimbabwe.

The Solar Shack was contracted by Africare to supply & install a Grundfos solar water pumping system for the community in Mabvuku. We installed a 20000L storage solar water system that provides water over 100 households in Mabvuku.

The Solar Shack was contracted by Christian Care to carry out the installation of a piped water scheme in Mwenezi. This scheme was carried out to supply potable water to the beneficiaries in Rushumbe. The installation included 50000L storage for water and is run by a Grundfos DC solar water pump.
